Chapter 2

The hallway descended into chaos.
Camera flashes illuminated the corridor while glowing phone screens captured everything for livestreams. Horrified gasps echoed against the luxurious wallpaper.
Inside room 412, the scene was devastating.
Ethan and Jessica lay tangled beneath white hotel sheets, surrounded by scattered red rose petals, exposed and frozen with terror.
Ethan scrambled upright, clutching the blanket against his chest. His face turned an alarming shade of purple as he struggled to speak.
“Mom! Dad! Wait, stop recording, this is a complete misunderstanding!” he shrieked, his voice cracking hysterically. “I… I must have taken the wrong elevator and walked into the wrong room by accident! It’s an honest mistake!”
Jessica hid behind him, pulling the sheets to her chin while sobbing dramatically and shielding her face from the flashing cameras.
My father-in-law clutched his chest, looking close to a medical emergency. My mother-in-law dropped her phone, covering her mouth as tears of humiliation filled her eyes.
My father stepped forward, fists clenched so tightly his knuckles whitened, glaring at the man who’d married his daughter only hours earlier.
Meanwhile, aunts and uncles shouted accusations over one another, transforming the hotel corridor into a scene of public shame and family conflict.
I moved calmly through the crowd, crossed my arms, and gave a sharp, sarcastic laugh that cut through the uproar.
“The wrong room, Ethan? Really? That is your best excuse after spending the last six months secretly booking weekend getaways behind my back?”
My voice remained firm, drawing everyone’s attention.
I retrieved my phone and tapped the screen, using AirPlay to display our private chat records and bank statements on the smart television inside the room.
Messages and detailed hotel booking confirmations appeared in high definition, exposing their months of deception before the entire family.
Ethan’s eyes widened in horror as he realized every layer of his elaborate lies had been uncovered.
He’d believed he could portray himself as the victim, but I’d anticipated his excuses and turned his dream wedding night into a public disaster he’d never forget.

Phones continued recording every expression of guilt and humiliation.
Disgusted relatives began gathering their belongings, declaring they would never speak to the disgraced couple again.
