PART 3

THE GIRL NOBODY LET EXPLAIN HERSELF - PART 3
The moment the message appeared, her heart didn’t just race.
It stopped for a second.
“I know he’s lying.”
Her eyes locked on the screen like she didn’t trust what she was seeing.
For a moment, she even questioned herself.
Is this real?
Or is this another trap?
Then the second message came in.
“I have much worse.”
Attached photo.
She zoomed in instantly.
The boyfriend.
Standing outside a restaurant she had never been to.
Smiling.
Relaxed.
With a woman leaning close to him like they shared something familiar.
Not her mother.
Not anyone she knew.
Her hands started shaking again—but this time it wasn’t just fear.
It was anger.
Real anger.
Because this wasn’t just manipulation anymore.
It was a double life.
Before she could type anything back—
the phone suddenly buzzed again.
Unknown number.
Third message:
“Don’t respond yet.”
Her breath caught.
“How do you know I was going to—”
The message continued:
“He’s watching your phone activity.”
Her stomach dropped.
She slowly lifted her eyes from the screen and looked around her room like it was suddenly unsafe.
Then—
a soft knock at her door.
She flinched so hard her phone almost slipped.
“…yeah?” she answered quickly.
The door opened slightly.
Her mother peeked in.
But behind her mother—
the boyfriend stood in the hallway.
Just visible.
Calm.
Smiling faintly like he had all the time in the world.
“I just wanted to check on you,” her mother said gently.
The girl forced herself to breathe normally.
“I’m fine.”
The boyfriend’s eyes met hers through the gap in the door.
Just for a second.
But it was enough.
Because there was no warmth there.
Only awareness.
Like he already knew.
Like he already saw the phone.
Her mother nodded softly.
“Okay. We’ll talk tomorrow about the counselor.”
The girl froze.
Tomorrow.
He was pushing it faster now.
Controlling the timeline.
Her mother closed the door.
But the boyfriend didn’t move away immediately.
He stayed there in the hallway.
Like he was waiting.
Like he was listening.
And then—
he finally walked off.
Slow steps.
Deliberate.
The second he disappeared, the phone buzzed again.
Unknown number.
New message:
“You have one chance.”
Her fingers tightened.
“What do you mean?”
Reply came instantly.
“If he convinces your mother you need counseling first… you lose.”
Her breath hitched.
Because that was exactly what was happening.
The counselor wasn’t support.
It was strategy.
A way to label her.
To isolate her.
To make her story sound like illness instead of truth.
Then another message came in.
“Check your room.”
Her eyes snapped up instantly.
No.
No way.
She stood slowly, every step heavy, and scanned her room.
Nothing seemed different.
Until she noticed it.
A tiny piece of paper sticking slightly out from under her desk.
Her hand trembled as she pulled it out.
It was printed.
Not handwritten.
A list.
Her name at the top.
Then below it—
dates.
Times.
Places she had been alone with the boyfriend.
All documented.
All precise.
And at the bottom…
one line:
“HE’S BUILDING A CASE AGAINST YOU BEFORE YOU BUILD ONE AGAINST HIM.”
Her phone buzzed again.
But this time—
it wasn’t a message.
It was a call.
Unknown number.
She hesitated.
Then answered.
Silence for two seconds.
Then a voice.
Calm.
Male.
Different from before.
“You need to stop reacting emotionally.”
Her eyes widened.
“Who are you?”
A pause.
Then the voice replied:
“I’m the reason he hasn’t finished this already.”
Her breathing got faster.
“What does that mean?”
And then—
the most terrifying part.
The voice lowered slightly.
“He knows you got the photo.”
Her blood turned cold.
From outside her room—
footsteps returned.
Slow.
Approaching her door again.
And the voice on the phone whispered one final sentence:
May you like
“Don’t let him know you’re no longer alone.”
The door handle started to turn…
