Chapter 1

A Group of Grandmothers and Grandfathers Walked Onto the Stage in Pink Ballet Skirts… The Young Dancers Started Laughing, Until the Music Began and Everyone Went Completely Silent 🤯🩰The city’s annual dance battle was considered one of the most exciting events of the year.

Every season, dozens of dancers came there to prove themselves. Some dreamed of performing on big stages, others were preparing for serious competitions, and some simply wanted their videos to go viral after one perfect performance.

That evening, the final round was about to begin.

On one side of the stage stood a young ballet group called Fire Pulse.

They were beautiful, flexible, and confident. Their leader was a twenty-two-year-old dancer named Dylan. Despite his age, he already had a reputation for being one of the strongest young performers in the city.

His team respected him because he was strict and ambitious. During rehearsals, he never allowed anyone to be lazy and demanded perfect execution of every movement.

“Higher leg.”

“Straighter back.”

“Don’t lose your balance.”

“Again from the beginning.”

The audience was waiting for a real battle. Phones were raised. Judges sat at the front table. The young dancers stood proudly under the stage lights, already smiling as if they had won.

At that moment, the host looked at his card and paused.

Then he cleared his throat.

“And now,” he announced, trying to keep a serious face, “please welcome their opponents… The Silver Swans.”

The curtain opened.

For a few seconds, nobody understood what they were seeing.

Five grandmothers and three grandfathers slowly walked onto the stage.

They appeared to be between seventy and eighty-five years old.

One grandfather had silver hair and a slightly bent back. One grandmother wore thick glasses. Another held a small handbag. But what made the whole hall fall silent was what they were wearing.

All eight of them had soft pink ballet skirts over their clothes.

They also wore white tights, ballet shoes, and matching pink ribbons around their wrists.

For a few seconds, there was silence.

Then someone laughed.

A young dancer standing behind Dylan covered her mouth with her hand.

Another whispered loudly,

“Is this a joke?”

The laughter spread through the hall.

Dylan looked at the elderly group from head to toe and smirked.

“They brought grandparents to a ballet battle?”

Several people laughed even louder.

Someone in the audience shouted,

“Careful, Grandpa!”

Another voice called out,

“Don’t break a hip!”

The judges looked uncomfortable. The host did not know whether to continue or stop everything.

Dylan stepped forward and looked at the oldest man in the group.

“Listen, with respect,” he said, though there was no respect in his voice, “this is a real competition. Ballet is not easy. You could get hurt.”

The old man looked at him calmly.

His name was Arthur Whitmore.

“We know what ballet is,” Arthur said.

Dylan raised his eyebrows.

“Oh, really?”

The young dancers behind him laughed.

Arthur did not react.

One of the grandmothers, Clara, stood beside him with her chin lifted and her hands resting calmly at her sides.

Dylan smiled wider.

“Fine,” he said. “If you really came here to battle, then repeat our movements.”

The audience became louder.

Dylan turned to the DJ.

“Play our track.”

May you like

The music started.

Fire Pulse moved first.
